Let us start out by saying we don’t come from a long lineage of family farming and we’ve only owned ours for a few years; however, we have enjoyed this adventurous journey to date. Most of what we’ve accomplished as been a result of lots of pre-planning and then a complete abandonment of that plan. Hence we are reminded of Proverbs 16:3 “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” and so we continue to keep moving forward trusting in Him to guide our paths.
GRTR Farm Fares was created because of our passion for regenerative agriculture and providing excellent quality products. We were introduced to this approach through multiple sources which inspired us to make changes in the way we ranch. We want our ranch to create an impact and inspire others to do the same.
GRTR Farm Fares was created shortly after we were introduced to the concept of regenerative agriculture.
We realized that we needed to start doing our part in helping change our environment. Creating richer soil, providing great nutrients for our animals, and producing healthier choices for people who are looking for better alternatives. We feel our GReaTeR practices provide for a GReaTeR purpose to achieve these goals and bring glory to God.

Now our eyes have been opened with a new focus towards achieving these GReaTR practices. We have started learning, and continue to learn, about rotational grazing, planting cover crops to improve our soil, planting wildflower seeds to increase pollinators, manually pulling weeds to eliminate chemicals, using our livestock to feed microbial activity in the ground...and the list goes on!
Our animals are pasture-raised on the 3-T approach: trust, time and treats! All products we offer are all-natural, antibiotic and hormone free. We’ve also opted for solar power electricity, when possible, on structures and fences in order to add a little more green. We’ve installed a rain collection system for multiple beneficial purposes.
We hope you follow along our journey as we continue to learn and implement even more GReaTR practices for a GReaTeR purpose!
